FORBIDDEN WARRIOR - A martial-arts/fantasy epic for which I did sound design work and theatrical 5.1 mix. I was quite familiar with the film because I had also written the orchestral score and produced the opening prologue and main title sequence.

EXTREME HEIST (aka WICKED GAME) - An action film with a very Jacke Chan feel, for which I did all the sound design, sound editing and final stereo mix for DVD release. I also wrote the score for this film and did a few visual effects shots as well as the opening title sequence.

The DARK SOLDIER 'D' TRILOGY became a Japanese cult-hit featuring a classic anti-hero and his cybernetic suit of destruction. I did the sound design and mix for the original Japanese stereo release, as well as re-invisioned 5.1 mixes with additional sound design for the english verison. I also wrote the music for the trilogy.

COWBOY BEBOP is a wildly popular 26 episode anime series, which was brought to the USA by Bandai. I was hired to do entirely new sound design for the series, and then mix the english version in preparation for its DVD release. Because of its futuristic setting, I was able to create an extensive library of new ship, weapons, and alien settings sounds as part of an agressive 5.1 surround mix.

Another anime series, SOL BIANCA, required equally extensive rebuilding of its sound design palette, before being mixed in 5.1 surround. Part of the challenge in doing english versions of popular anime is staying true to the asthetic of the Japanese originals, while updating the audio experience for modern audiences.

BATMAN - THE SIMULATOR RIDE was a unique sound design and mixing challenge, as the final product was going to be experienced in motion simulator cabins with non-traditional surround setups. After performing a standard 5.1 mix in Los Angeles, I flew to Canada and then to Australia to remix the movie inside the cabins themselves, while being bounced around on the ride for 8 hours a day.
